This Wednesday saw TASK PR celebrate the grand opening of occasion wear designer Raishma’s first store in Marylebone, London. With a flurry of industry experts and influencers in attendance, including Britain’s Next Top Model’s Judge Nicky Johnston, Raishma displayed her ready-to-wear collection for brides, bridesmaids, and wedding guests alike.
Having sold out of specific styles in just 4 weeks when the debut bridal collection launched in John Lewis, the new store aims to stock large quantities of Raishma’s designs to keep up with the high customer demand. The ready-to-wear pieces, available on the first floor, are similarly full of delicate fabrics, feminine embroideries, and beautiful muted colour palettes. Pastel tones contrast with floral motifs, portraying the vintage inspired theme and key details such as sheer sleeves, frill details and print placement deliver the sophisticated finish Raishma is renowned for.
Available on the lower floor, this season’s bridal wear builds upon Raishma’s signature bohemian style, marrying together folklore inspirations with eastern artistry. Using delicate fabrics of tulle, soft georgette and lace to create romantic gowns, the designer has expanded her scope by incorporating lace into the collection, showing her mastery of intricate hand embroidery.

Guests were treated to a delightful selection of canapés and champagne throughout the night and were each gifted cake pops and one of Raishma’s stunning blouses at the end of the event.
