Goldsheep designer and visionary, Keri Wilson started her career early on in Southern California as an artist/designer. From spray-painting murals to sewing her friend’s clothes, her creativity was unconditional.
She landed in New York where she began the process of Goldsheep on her studio floor. Pulling influence from all over the world, she loved the idea of transferring art onto leggings. Amazed by what the city had to offer, she wanted continue her journey as an artist and create a movement that could blend both art and fashion. She started capturing moments of inspiration and it was then that she decided to transform them into clothing and born was Goldsheep.
Today Goldsheep is a brand that loves to bring light to raw images and eccentricities that surround us every day.
Keri decided to bring her brand Goldsheep across the pond for the first time to showcase her AW17 collection. The catwalk took place on the 18th February 2017 at Devonshire Square. The collection involved bright and bold leggings, inspired by UK pop culture. The Royal Family, Carnaby Street, punk rock and the swinging sixties all echo through the collection, featuring classic British iconography including the English currency, crowns and her Majesty’s favorite pup, a super cool corgi. Classic Union Jack prints and traditional tartans are re-imagined as cool athleisurewear for fitness and fashion fans alike.
The event was a night to remember with eye-capturing pieces throughout the collection. We thank everyone who attended the event and hope you had an amazing time!
