We’ve returned from Baselworld! The end of March marks that time of year when watch brands and their teams of PR’s, sales and marketing, sidle up alongside the rich and famous to descend upon the Swiss town of Basel to check out the latest timepiece collections.
Despite this year’s Baselworld trade show being smaller than in previous years, the stands were still as impressive as ever. Although stands is a very liberal term for these flagship-type stores which house numerous meeting rooms, kitchens and bars.
At Task PR, we represent Maurice Lacroix and Storm Watches, both of whom put on a great display at the show.
Maurice Lacroix also invited American installation artist Alexa Meade, who drew in the crowds with her unique performance, she painted directly on a model and inanimate objects in a way that collapsed depth and made her model appear two-dimensional when photographed.
