LFW through Renata's eyes

LFW, the three letter that strike joy and fear into the hearts of many a fashionisto/a. Here we accompany Renata, one of our Senior Womenswear Executives as she traverses the minefield that is London Fashion Week and picks out a few of her favourite stops.

It’s that exciting time again in the fashion calendar – Fashion Week! I was lucky enough to go see what all the fuss was about and witnessed some of the best creative talents in London. Here are some of my favourite bits…

First one on the agenda was our very own favourite designer Malene Oddershede Bach. I LOVE her fresh and ultra-modern SS14 collection.

Beautiful prints and sharp white leather tailoring pieces. Accessories were also on hand to complete the looks. I was particularly excited about these futuristic-inspired sunglasses with built-in visors.

I managed to take a peek at Christopher Raeburn’s collection and drooled over this jumper. Also check out these cool stuffed animals that seemed to be everywhere in the collection.

On the weekend I decided to roll out of bed to see Dutch designer Hellen Van Rees. Her whole SS14 presentation was such a lovely surprise as her pieces were beautiful and ethereal.

Delicate pieces with unfinished effects came out one by one and impressed everyone in the room (including the famous blogger Susie Lau of Style Bubble).

Here are snippets from the collection…

Lastly, I wasn’t lucky enough to see JW Anderson show but thought I’d share a few photos I found. Hmmm….SS14 wardrobe?
