Having recently graduated and being someone who has always been interested in fashion, I thought it would be a good experience to intern for Task PR for a period of three months. The reason for deciding to intern for Task PR is because it gave me the opportunity to be part of a team where I could learn and develop alongside a team that has a wide variety of experience, from digital media to brand building.
In the two weeks that I have interned for Task PR, I have been exposed to a variety of new and exciting challenges. One of my highlights so far has been the main event of the year, our Press Day for Spring Summer 2019. Press Day is over a two-day period and is a great opportunity for our agency to showcase our clients and their brands and where stylist, journalists, and influencers are able to come and interactive with both our brands and other creatives in the industry. During the two days, I was able to help with our Instagram account (@TaskPR) and create an instastory that showcased key moments during our Press Day. This included taking pictures and editing them -using the Mexican theme to supplement my work and ensure everything was on brand.
This was a fun experience for me and helped me understand what it takes to create a successful Press Day from behind the scenes!
As for being an intern at Task PR, here are some of my highlights so far:
- Being able to be part of a growing global agency and seeing their progress to achieving this.
- Learning how to deal with challenges by pushing myself and my creativity.
- Nonetheless, the best part is that no day is the same!
