On Thursday 17th April, we travelled to GTO London, to experience the delights of the workshops and take our first trip in a vintage Ferrari!
We invited along some of our closest press friends to experience the offerings of GTO Engineering, the place where it all started, firstly we ventured into the treasure chest of Vintage Ferrai restoration, after a whistle stop tour of the workshops, where the talented teams in charge of looking after these beautiful cars were on hand to our answers all our questions. Ben Lyon, GTO London’s Managing Director explained more about the business and where the inspiration for GTO London accessories comes from.
After lots of questions and of course lots of pictures GTO treated us with a much anticipated trip… Two qualified GTO Engineering race drivers took our guests on a ride through the country lanes to really experience the power of these incredible cars.
Of course the trip wouldn’t have been complete without a visit to the headquarters of the GTO London design hub, where the latest cufflinks and leather accessories designed in-house were being brain-stormed as we looked round, hidden away in the depths of the Twyford countryside, the real Ferrari metal used to create the beautifully bespoke cufflinks really does come from the workshop floor, into the designers hands, before being turned into a Ferrari inspired design.
We can’t wait for our next trip……
