Behind the Tasks – Summer in the East!

This week Senior Account Executive Renata tells us about her favourite way to spend a sunny Saturday in London…

East London is my favourite haunt when it comes to Summer days. Hackney to be precise. There’s nothing better than trawling around markets on the weekend and even better if the sun is beaming.

One market in particular which is a personal favourite of mine is Broadway Market.

It’s mainly known for its food stalls – from amazing selections of cheeses, organic meats, and yummy cakes all the way to truffle oils, Broadway Market is a sight for sore eyes when it comes to satisfying your culinary needs.

Other than that, the market offers a cool vibrant vibe that the locals can’t get enough of. There’s definitely something for everyone. Fashion enthusiasts can quench their style thirst by rummaging through rail after rail of vintage clothing and music geeks can spend hours digging through records to add to their already extensive collections. Live performances are also part of the charm and you can expect to see something different every week.

It’s my go to for a fun Saturday out so next time you are in the area, make sure you pop in and experience all that this buzzing market has to offer.
