The Isle of Wight may be famous for many things, white cliffs (or is that Dover), multi coloured sand and famous British Seaside memories of childhoods gone by. It is not, however, the most recognisable destination for marathon running, or in this case, half marathon running.
But Sunday 17th August seemed so far away back in May, it was the perfect idea and a great excuse for a long weekend reliving our youth. Ice cream, Fish and Chips and 13.1miles later, the Isle of Wight still has all the charm we so fondly remembered it for and several hills we clearly had forgotten!
Love,
Sarah, Marc & Dottie
