The new SS12 collection, named Glam and Soul, from German jewellery brand Thomas Sabo was officially unveiled on the 6th of December with a star studded and of course Glamourous event in Berlin. TASK PR worked with Thomas Sabo to invite a host of fashion and lifestyle press to the prestigious event which took place at Club Goya in Berlin. Around 250 guests from 17 different countries around the world joined the list of celebrity fans from fashion, music and sport to celebrate the latest creative range from the brand.
Among others, host of the event Thomas Sabo – accompanied by his wife Luz-Enith and Creative Director Susanne Kölbli – welcomed guests such as model Elettra Wiedemann, the beautiful daughter of Isabella Rossellini and internationally-renowned London It-Girl, Model and fashion icon Poppy Delevingne.
Also in attendance was the formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg, who is a big fan of the Thomas Sabo brand and was recently one of the faces of the brand during his Formula 1 tournament. The musical highlight of the evening was live act Pat Appleton, singer with band ‘De Phazz’, who really got the guests into the party mood with her soulful voice.
The new Sterling Silver Collection for Spring/Summer 2012 reflects the identity and history of the Thomas Sabo brand. Jazz and Soul influences have formed a beautiful homage to the most successful Thomas Sabo creations of all time. A reinterpretation of the best sellers– from the skull to the starfish, from the cross to the winged heart. The event also saw Thomas Sabo present a new range for the very first time – the Special Addition collection line. With its motto – Create your own pieces of jewellery – Special Addition comprises of 44 new and filigree pendants, five new bracelets, as well as a range of brand-new necklaces with matching earrings and rings. An infinite number of combinations is possible – just add, add, add. The new collection will be available in stores from January 2012.
