Next week marks the beginning of the 90th annual RHS Chelsea Flower Show, back again for another year from Tuesday 22nd May to Saturday 26th May. Gardening fanatics can enjoy various different botanical gardens and flowers and also be presented with a brand new modern inventive garden called ‘Fresh’.
As with every year, the start of the famous flower show seems to bring about a revival of all things floral. Whether it is in fashion, food or just an extra bouquet on your desk…everyone is talking flower power!
If like us you are fashion crazy and would rather be preening your hair and clothes rather than your roses then this is the perfect time to raid your wardrobe in order to shed some colour on this dreary weather with bright floral prints which will see you blending in perfectly!
Florals in hues of deep purple, midnight blue and pops of bright pink were seen all over the AW 2012 catwalks and are also in abundance on the high street for SS 2012.
Stylist mag joined the trend and created their first ever live magazine cover last week using over 3,000 flowers! The giant cover will also be showcased at The Chelsea Flower show.
