Last Year TASK PR sent out 300 Christmas cards to press, clients and friends who had supported us throughout the year.We bought 25 packs of 12 cards at £3 per pack totalling £75, plus 300 1st Class stamps amounting to £180 and we broke our wrists with a whole lot of signing… And at the end of it, all anyone took home was a (albeit pretty Christmas themed) piece of paper!
This Christmas we wanted to put that money to better use and say a REAL Thank You to everyone for their continued support throughout the year.
This December we are spending our Christmas card fund of £255 on supporting the Nourish The Children initiative and giving a gift to those who really need it.
Nourish the Children produce specially formulated food packages for those in need called Vitameal. Each Vitameal retailing at £16 contains 30 child sized meals or enough food to provide a child with 1 nutritious meal per day for a month. They are uniquely balanced to contain all of the nutrients required for healthy growth and development.
So as a THANK YOU for those who gave up their Christmas card this year we wanted to show you what a difference we are able to make….
£75 (Cards) + £180 (postage) = £255 towards Nourish The Children Vitameals
£255 = 16 packs of Vitameal (£ 16 each)
16 packs of Vitameal = 480 meals for malnourished children
1 Christmas card = 1.5 meals
