This afternoon saw the announcement that Britains longest standing Newspaper THE NEWS OF THE WORLD will be closing. This Sunday shall be the last issue of the paper and it’s supplement Fabulous Magazine James Murdoch has recently announced. This is following the news that claims have been made that the paper authorised hacking into the mobile phones of murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler and the families of 7/7 bombing victims.
In a statement made to staff, Mr Murdoch said the good things the News of the World did “have been sullied by behaviour that was wrong – indeed, if recent allegations are true, it was inhuman and has no place in our company”.

We are obviously extremely shocked to hear the news after such a long relationship with the editorial team at Fabulous and our best wishes go out to all of the lovely fashion team who we have enjoyed chatting with over the years. Despite the actions of the paper, so many innocent journalists losing their jobs is not an outcome we would have wished on anyone.
