Celebrating Christmas in July: A Festive Showcase for the Season Ahead

This past Wednesday, TASK PR welcomed editors, journalists and influencers to our annual Christmas in July Press Day, offering an exclusive look at the festive collections and seasonal stories set to shape Christmas coverage in the months ahead.

Despite one of London’s warmest summer days providing the backdrop outside, our showroom was transformed into a festive retreat, showcasing an inspiring selection of Christmas and winter collections from our clients. The event brought together a fantastic mix of publications, alongside digital creators, for a day of product discovery, creative inspiration and valuable industry conversations.

A key moment in the media calendar

Christmas in July plays an important role in the editorial calendar, giving journalists and editors the opportunity to plan festive features well ahead of the season. For brands, it provides the perfect platform to unveil new collections, inspire Christmas gift guides and seasonal home stories, and strengthen relationships with key media contacts.

Throughout the day, guests explored beautifully curated displays, discovered the latest festive launches and gained early insight into the trends expected to define Christmas 2026.

A festive showroom transformation

One of the standout moments of the event was the stunning Christmas display from McKenzie-Childs, which brought colour, character and festive charm to the showroom.

At the heart of the display stood a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, generously provided by Balsam Hill, creating a striking focal point that perfectly captured the spirit of the season and provided an ideal setting for guests to explore the collections on display.

As guests departed, they received carefully curated gift bags, made possible thanks to the generosity of our fantastic sponsors.
