With a jewellery career spanning over thirty years, Founder and Creative Director Annabel Bartfeld combines her love of ‘wearable art’, a deep respect for the elemental materials she works with and a drive for pushing boundaries to create her unique collections. Pieces are often intended to be worn in non-traditional places; from sterling silver bangles that bridge the hand or sit above the elbow to agate and onyx rings that rest on the upper finger and chains that snake horizontally across the chest.
Constantly exploring new jewellery making techniques and a fan of creating pieces that remain a part of the wearer forever, Annabel’s unconventional FixedOn range features chains that can be attached permanently, locking two ends of a capsule together so that they cannot be removed or pulled apart – much like a tattoo that perpetually adorns the skin. While pieces in the Bodywear range are designed to emulate armour and imbue the wearer with a powerful sense of emotional robustness.
