TASK PR was delighted to support the launch of the second collaboration between Seasalt Cornwall and Beyond Retro, celebrating a shared commitment to sustainability and circular fashion.
Hosted at the Beyond Retro store in Brighton, the launch event brought together key UK press and influencers to experience the collection firsthand and engage with the story behind the collaboration.
A Brighton launch event rooted in circular fashion
Taking place on Thursday 26th March from 6pm to 8pm, the event was designed to reflect the spirit of both brands, combining creativity, community and conscious fashion.
Guests were welcomed into the Brighton store for an intimate and engaging evening, featuring:

- Food by Bam’s Kitchen
- Drinks including Dash Waters and gin and tonics
- A short talk from both the Seasalt Cornwall and Beyond Retro teams, sharing the inspiration behind the collaboration
- Curated goody bags for guests to take away
TASK PR co-ordinated and invited press and influencers ahead of the event, working closely with the Beyond Retro team, and managed guest relations on the evening.

Following the official launch on Friday 27th March, the collaboration received strong editorial support across a number of leading UK publications.
Coverage highlights include:
- Hello! Magazine
- Country & Town House Online
- Metro Online
- The Rakish Gent
This coverage has helped position the collaboration within the wider conversation around sustainable fashion and conscious consumerism.
Sustainability and storytelling at the core
This collaboration is particularly important for Seasalt Cornwall, as it reinforces the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability. By repurposing existing materials and reimagining them into new designs, the partnership with Beyond Retro reflects a move towards more circular fashion practices.
From a PR perspective, this provided a strong and authentic narrative, allowing media and influencers to engage with a story that goes beyond product and taps into wider industry shifts.
A successful regional PR event with national impact
The Brighton-based launch demonstrates the value of hosting events outside of London, creating a more localised and authentic brand experience while still achieving national media coverage.
Through targeted outreach, strong storytelling and thoughtful event execution, TASK PR was able to deliver both meaningful engagement and tangible results.
Supporting fashion brands through purpose-led PR
At TASK PR, we specialise in supporting fashion and lifestyle brands through integrated PR strategies that combine events, media relations and influencer engagement.
This launch is a strong example of how purpose-led storytelling, particularly around sustainability and circular fashion, can drive both coverage and brand affinity.
